Common sense rules at the village farm
Barn hours are 7:00 am to 9:00 pm. Extended summer hours until 9:30 pm.
No smoking.
Arena etiquette - left shoulder to left shoulder, pick up manure, announce "door" entering indoor.
Arenas - no turnout, absolutely do not let your horse roll in the arena, obtain permission to longe.
Cross ties - Do not leave horses unattended, do not pass under cross ties in use. Ask to pass.
Halters will remain on during turnout. Leather or break-a-way halters are mandatory.
Clean up after our horse in the barn, the arenas and paved areas. Do not leave hoof pickings in aisle.
Please keep your stall fronts neat to keep our barns tidy. Extra items belong in trunk or locker.
Do not use the hose in front of the Washington barn to wash horses, this will flood the entrance.
Children under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult at all times at the farm.
Only TVF staff allowed in feed rooms. If you need assistance contact Rebecca.
Helmets must be worn while mounted at all times.
Any person planning to sit on or ride a horse must sign a liability release form.
Equine emergency - farm vet will be called if the owner cannot be contacted at the owner's expense.
Board payment - Due on the 1st of each month. $25 late fee per horse.
TVF is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Visiting dogs must be leashed.
Please drive under 10mph in our driveway, keep our children, dogs and horses safe.
Parking - Do not park in the grass, in the house drive or in front of the barns.
If you are the last to leave, turn off the lights and put safety boards up or close doors in cooler months.
Residence - our private area. Email, text or call for assistance unless it is an immediate emergency.
